Dear Parents and Swimmers,

Term 2 swim lessons finish on Saturday 25th of June. Please try to complete any make-up lessons prior to the term ending.

This term, we will be issuing certificates in weeks 9 and 10. Please make sure you collect your child’s certificate. It is nice to have a record of progress and the children enjoy receiving them.

Please Note: Receiving a certificate at a particular level does not necessarily mean moving up to the next level. This is done is at the discretion of the instructor in consultation with Vicki.

Payment of Fees

Please finalise all unpaid fees by the end of this term – thank you.

Winter Upgrades & Closure

The Newmarket Pool complex will be closed for 7 weeks from the end of lessons on the 25th of June to the 8th of August. During those 7 weeks, the indoor learn to swim pool and hydrotherapy pool will be emptied, pebblecrete removed, and brand new tiles installed.

This was necessary due to the wear and tear in both facilities. We aim always to provide the best and safest facilities for all patrons. We’re taking the winter period to conduct these significant works.

All Aqua & Exercise classes – will no longer be running during the period of closure of the indoor pools.

50m Pool Update

Work is progressing well on the 50m pool. We’re all very excited to welcome back everyone to our new 50m pool towards the end of this year. We will keep you all updated as construction continues during the winter months.

Term 3 2022

Swim lessons for Term 3 will recommence on Monday 8th of August. Due to the refurbishment of the indoor pool, we will have a shortened term of 6 weeks.

Term 3 is a great time to utilise the off-season to help maintain steady progress for your child’s swimming leading into the summer.

By continuing swim lessons through the winter, children enter the summer with important skills, capabilities, and confidence that they may not have had.

Please note there are no Sunday lessons available during Term 3.

Presently if you were attending lessons in Term 2, you will be rolled over to Term 3 and retain your current swim lesson time. Please inform us if you do or do not want lessons in Term 3.

All families currently enrolled in Term 2 will be contacted again prior to Term 3 commencing to confirm your allocated lesson spot.
