The Premier announced this morning that Greater Brisbane’s lockdown will end tonight (Monday 11th January) at 6 pm.
However, there are a few important changes that will stay in place until Friday, January 22nd (subject to any changes by the QLD Gov):
WHEN SHOULD I WEAR A MASK? 
When inside any building at the pool (e.g watching swim lessons, using the bathroom) When participating in a land-based class
WHEN SHOULD I NOT WEAR A MASK? 
When actively participating in a water-based activity When outside and socially distancingNewmarket Pool will reopen tomorrow as usual – 5:30 am – 7:00 pm and Holiday Swim Block will recommence.
For the swimmers that missed their Monday holiday swim block session due to the recent closure, we will be offering the following compensation methods:
- Refund of 1 lesson
- 1 x lesson cost deducted from Term 1 lesson fees
- 1 x free makeup lesson during Term 1 (to be accessed only after the first 2 weeks of the term)
Please note:
*Only applicable to customers that have paid in advance for Monday 11th of January session.
* Swimmers who are commencing lessons tomorrow will only be required to pay for 4 sessions and not 5.
